Great place great stay

We loved the property! The rooms were up on the hill in the trees with a huge terrace with table and chairs and a seating area. The terrace had a fridge which stayed on all the time so good for keeping meds in. Tea and coffee making facilities as well. Could see the sea through the trees from our room. Waiters came to bring drinks to the pool. Restaurant was right in the beach -great for sunset. Staff were really friendly. AC in the room was great. Worked well.

Could have done with a wee bar as it was not possible to get drinks after the restaurant shut at 10pm but good fridge meant you could buy at shops and drink on the terrace.

Amazing place really recommend for couples and families

The stuff was really nice. We had amazing view from the room. The pool is well maintained. A small private beach were you can take a kayak. The restaurant is very good and the prices are just a little bit above the average but the restaurant spot worth it.

The breakfast is not more than OK. The location is at the end of the Main Street so in order to get to the center you need to will about 30 min. All the paid services the hotel offers are a bit pricey, but you can find all of them in better price with just 5 min

Great location, amazing staff, would recommend

- Stayed in a romantic sea view room which had an amazing view, vibe, and outdoor space. - Very clean room, and really well maintained outdoor areas around the hotel. Two big and clean pools. - Super lovey staff from management to our daily cleaners. - Management were amazing in helping with some birthday surprises for my partner including room decorations and cake. - Great place for snorkelling right from the private beach which had a good amount of beds and drinks service as well. We would definitely recommend and return. - Decent breakfast but products in line with the price you pay - great location 5-10 minutes walk to town

- Some bits around the hotel could do with some love such as the beds around the swimming pool - More Asian vegetarian food at breakfast would have been welcomed

Jungle paradise

A slice of paradise, you feel as if you are in a secluded cabin in the jungle, it really is a special experience. There is lots of nature and wildlife around you. The location is great, and it's a short walk along the beach to some bars and restaurants. The pool area is lovely, very well kept and cleaned. The staff were very helpful, helping us to book excursions etc.

Pool bar wasn't open, staff came around occasionally to ask if you would like something- but this could have been more often. The water in the resort smelled really bad- I understand they are self sufficient in getting their own water but it was very smelly and some green sludge came out of the tap. Be mindful if you don't like bugs, you are staying in the jungle! Our room had some ants etc. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay a lot!

Our bungalow was a bit of a hike to the restaurant and beach (though close to the pool). It’s a little on the expensive side at $160 AUS a night

We had a great family suite (sea front) that was 2 separate rooms, with a private beach and a chill/tan deck. Was cleaned everyday, we loved hanging out in the room and the beach The pictures do no justice to the place it's more beautiful than I expected

It's a bit far from the walking street (where the restaurants and shops are). Takes 10 min by taxi, 300 baht every ride, or about 30 min by walking. Ofc you can rent scooter, but it's important to know

Very Good

A nice comfortable stay being close enough to the pier to go to any of the restaurants but far enough away. Large rooms spread out throughout the facility and in an eco based location.

Whole resort needs extra maintenance and it could be an outstanding resort. The pool needed a good vacuum as there was rubble about and wouldn’t recommend if you had kids as there is sharp tiles. Drinks are overpriced and it would be good if they changed breakfast as it was the same everyday. Overall an expensive stay for what it is.

Great resort.

Nice bungalows. Great location. Nice pool and facilities. Beautiful, leafy setting overlooking the sea. Quiet but close to the town, facilities, jetty, etc. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast was good, but the same every morning! A little variation would have been better, as my friend and I were staying for a week.

We liked the swimming pool, the chalet, the peace of the forest very much. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

The location of the hotel right near the pier and the difficult access to the mediocre snorkeling but don't blame the resort for its location

Wonderful, quiet, private

Great fruit and pancakes at the breakfast. Room was nice and secluded and felt private. We really enjoyed using the outside area in front of our room and the butterflies around the property were wonderful to watch. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

What was the highlight of Sensi Paradise Beach Resort

Tldr: Not a great stay, no bad feelings but no great ones either. The hotel can do better.

Pretty hotel made up of bungalows on a hill, surrounding a pool and leading to a private beach. The bungalow was clean and cleaned every day and the restaurant had an great view of the ocean in the morning.

A little far out of the way. For a young couple it’s fine (10 minutes to the pier, 30+ to sairee beach) but for anyone else it might be problematic, especially since it’s located on a hill so the whole way back is uphill. In general, the walking distances inside the resort are pretty big, about a 5 minute walk from the parking to the bungalow uphill, even more from the restaurant. The bungalows are private but with one major flaw being that the entrance is right by the big window overlooking the bed, meaning any staff that comes to knock sees right in. The only curtain on the window is a blackout curtain so keeping it closed is irrelevant. This made it very uncomfortable to sleep in, as there was a high likelihood of the staff seeing you in the morning when they come to clean up. This window can also be seen from other bungalows so the general privacy of the place is a little compromised. The walking distances and the hills on the premises can easily be fixed with a golf cart, I don’t know why they don’t offer that service. I will say that they do offer transfer to town from the hotel but that is only twice a day and the last one is at 15:00, making it irrelevant for a night in town. Breakfast options are pretty limited. Checkout time is pretty early at 10:00am, moreso we had staff knock on our door at 8:15 am asking if they can take our bags, even though we had notified the hotel that we will not be taking the early ferry. That just made us feel rushed and in uncomfortable pressure to check out. The English of most of the staff isn’t great so communication can be difficult The pool bar was closed for the duration of our stay. We had to use our cellphones to call the reception and ask them to order drinks for us.

Jungle bungalows with epic pools in the best location

This was the BEST place I could have stayed! The pools are so beautiful and refreshing after a hot walk over. The location is a perfectly hidden, classy spot, very close to the dock but away from the hubbub of the port town. It is a jungle hideout sort of resort. It would be fun for kids too. You can rent a scooter right there on the property, and the man there was lovely. The restaurant was good, and the breakfast is great! You can catch a beautiful sunset over the ocean for dinner.

Rustic but beautiful little resort with a great view and location, with a romantic atmosphere

We thought this was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in! The room was cozy but spacious and felt appropriately rustic, with all the amenities we needed. Terrific view and we ended up spending a lot of time on our little deck. Loved the BBQ at the restaurant, which was especially romantic in the evening. The pool was excellent - spacious,

Honestly, we don't have any complaints. Everything was up to par!

Beautiful, authentic resort for able bodied people

Lovely bungalows and restaurant on beach. The restaurant staff and some of the reception staff were wonderful. The grounds are well kept and beautiful surrounds. Great pools too.

If you are able bodied, this is a fantastic place to stay. If you have any trouble walking don't stay here. There are steep slopes, windy narrow paths and lots of stairs. This is the nature of the island. Came across a couple of reception staff that were quite negative and not helpful with a reasonable query I had. I am not a fussy person by any means but in this instance felt they could have tried to offer an alternative or at least a suggestion. They were not as friendly as other staff I've come across in hotels in Thailand.
